Joe Hicks Ceramics is proud to announce the Grand Opening of his new studio at Gateway Arts Center at Brentwood located at 3901 Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood, MD. We have been patiently waiting for the opening of this new arts center for quite some time and our wait is finally over this Saturday December 12, 2009.
Every year around this time local artist's studios encompassing the towns of Brentwood and Mount Rainier collaborate in opening their doors for the public to display and sell their latest work. It always proves to be an exciting event because it promotes a forum between art collectors and art enthusiasts with artists, and a close view into these artist's working spaces and their freshest ideas. This will be the first time that Gateway Arts Center at Brentwood will participate in the event which also hosts 14 artist's studios, including Joe Hicks Ceramics. Some of the other participating studios also include Red Dirt Studio, Flux Studio, and Washington Glass School and Studio (please see links below).
