JOE HICKS BIOGRAPHY

 

Since 2001, Joe Hicks has been living in Washington DC where he moved after receiving a BA in Art from Shippensburg University in 2000.  He enrolled at The George Washington University where he studied for three years earning his MFA in Ceramics in 2005.   Joe Hicks is currently a Professor of Ceramics at Gallaudet University and at The George Washington University.   He has been teaching wheel-throwing and hand-building courses at George Washington since 2006, and is teaching a multidute of ceramic and Drawing courses since the fall of 2008 at Gallaudet University.
